Mama Shelter Amsterdam
In 2021, White House Development acquired a property located in Amsterdam North with the ambition to transform this building into a high-quality sustainable hotel. In 2024 Ennismore announced the signing of the Mama Shelter Amsterdam together with White House Development and EUHC. Set to open his doors in Q1 of 2027, The hotel will also recieve the BREEAM Excellent certificate. The approximately 150-room hotel is located in an old warehouse. It will offer a great balance between historical and modern. Respecting its heritage while offering guests ultra modern facilities with unique interior decorations and a rooftop bar. Overhoeks, the upcoming edgy neighborhood where Mama Shelter Amsterdam will be located, boasts an abundance of tourist attractions such as the Nxt Museum and the recently opened WONDR experience.
City Hotel Gouda (Sold in May 2025)
City Hotel Gouda, located in the heart of historic Gouda, has recently been sold. Formerly part of the WorldHotels Crafted collection, the hotel was known for its blend of contemporary comfort and authentic Dutch charm, featuring 101 rooms and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The property underwent a full renovation in the summer of 2024, offering guests a unique experience just steps from Gouda’s iconic attractions. The renovation focused not only on aesthetics but also on sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly amenities and energy-efficient systems, making it a conscious choice for environmentally minded travellers.
